Divinus itself is a competitive, legacy, digital hybrid board game designed for 2-4 players, offering both a structured campaign and an infinitely replayable game mode. Please note that the Divinus board game is required to utilize this app.

Upon launching the app, players can embark on a new campaign, assuming the roles of demigods vying for the favor of both Greek and Nordic pantheons. The gameplay involves exploring various lands, making lasting changes to the game world, and completing quests to acquire artifacts and titles that help secure a position among the gods.

Each campaign scenario is presented by the prophet Pythia, who outlines the plot, objectives, and a unique set of quests. The narrative is dynamic, adapting based on the players' prior decisions and offering special rewards and varied storylines as a result. The app effectively reflects the legacy aspect of the game by tracking player actions—recording which player has altered or developed particular locations and modifying the narrative accordingly.

A noteworthy feature of Divinus is its unique scannable stickers. Throughout gameplay, players will attach location stickers to map tiles, thereby permanently altering them. The app employs image recognition technology to facilitate scanning of these stickers, allowing for immersion in different mapped locations without compromising aesthetic appeal with QR codes.

Gameplay sessions are designed to last between 45 to 60 minutes. Players may choose to engage in a campaign consisting of interconnected scenarios or opt for the endlessly replayable Eternal Mode.

Once downloaded, the app allows for offline play during scenarios without necessitating an internet connection. Additionally, language preferences can be customized within the app, which conveniently saves progress to enable players to resume their campaigns at any time.
